Accountant / KYC Administrator

About the role

We are an established single‑family office expanding our Bahamas team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive accounting support, manage payment processing, and handle all Know‑Your‑Client (KYC) responsibilities for our trust and company structures.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full accounting records, including bank reconciliations, ledger management, budgets and transaction verification.
• Prepare and review financial statements, regulatory reports and CRS/CESRA filings.
• Conduct cost and variance analysis for projects and expenses.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing and expense reporting.
• Support period‑end closing and coordinate with auditors as needed.
• Oversee KYC requests, maintain due‑diligence files and monitor beneficial‑owner changes.
• Prepare regulatory filings and compliance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, trusts, private banking, wealth management or family‑office environments.
• Strong knowledge of Bahamian, Caymanian and BVI regulations and reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in KYC, AML and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with international teams.
• High attention to detail, discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
