Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Assurance line of service. In this role you will support audit and assurance engagements, providing independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain reasonable assurance that financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error.
• Evaluate compliance with applicable regulations and assess governance, risk management processes and related controls.
• Prepare and issue auditor’s reports that include the auditor’s opinion.
• Gather information from multiple sources, analyse facts and identify patterns to support audit conclusions.
• Apply professional and technical standards, including PwC tax and audit guidance, while upholding the firm’s code of conduct and independence requirements.
