Client Associate – Banking Services

About the role

The Client Associate delivers a superior client experience on the branch floor, assisting customers with everyday banking transactions, digital banking guidance, and cash handling. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring client needs are met efficiently while supporting sales and service professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with transactions, account opening, term deposits, and credit card applications.
• Promote and educate clients on digital and multi‑channel banking solutions.
• Manage client flow on the branch floor, engaging customers upon entry.
• Handle client concerns using “Make it Right” principles and log complaints for follow‑up.
• Maintain cash operations as a Primary Cash Custodian, including cash ordering, redemption, and end‑of‑day balancing.
• Ensure compliance with policies to minimize cash differences, fraud, and losses.

Required profile

• Five minimum passes – Grades I, II or III (or A, B, C) with compulsory Math and English.
• Proven customer service and operations experience in a target‑driven environment.
• Strong leadership, multitasking, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent listening skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Interest in mobile and digital devices to guide self‑service usage.
• Nice‑to‑have: Diploma or Associate Degree in Banking or a related field.
