Experienced Reception (Front Desk) Manager

About the role

The Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas is looking for a highly organized, tech‑savvy Reception (Front Desk) Manager to lead daily front‑desk operations. You will act as the bridge between guests arriving on Paradise Island and the retreat’s digital reservation system, ensuring smooth check‑in, accurate records, and an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily reservation platforms (e.g., RetreatGuru) to process bookings, track room inventory, and maintain guest rosters.
• Lead front‑desk operations, handling digital intake forms, payment processing, and guest preferences.
• Provide proactive, high‑quality customer service from arrival to departure.
• Resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and empathy.
• Communicate with guests via email, phone, and messaging platforms, ensuring timely responses.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline check‑in/check‑out and automate communications.
• Coordinate with reservations, marketing, housekeeping, kitchen, and spiritual leadership to convey guest notes, dietary needs, and schedule changes.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception environment while enforcing policies.
