Financial Controller – Accounting Department

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the Accounting Department of Cacique Intl. Group of Companies, overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, and compliance. Reporting to the President/CEO, Sr. Vice President and General Manager, the role ensures accurate financial statements and efficient accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including cash management, inventory, accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, annual budgets, forecasts and support year‑end audit processes.
• Ensure timely government reporting such as VAT filings, business licence and Central Bank submissions.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Lead and allocate work for the accounting team, conduct weekly meetings and monitor performance.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration and related legal matters.
• Handle banking relationships, secure facilities and obtain Central Bank approvals.
• Drive process improvements and support special projects as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing full‑cycle accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of statutory reporting, VAT, and Central Bank requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead an accounting team and coordinate with senior management.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and audit preparation.
