Financial Controller – Accounting Department

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the Accounting Department of Cacique Intl. Group of Companies, overseeing daily financial operations and ensuring accurate internal reporting. This senior position reports directly to the President/CEO, Sr. Vice President, and General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cash balances, inventory, accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis.
• Prepare general ledger entries, monthly financial statements, and oversee year‑end audit preparation.
• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures for timely financial statements.
• Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial review work papers.
• Handle all government reporting requirements, including VAT filings, business licence and Central Bank reporting.
• Lead the accounting team, allocate work, and ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration and related HR functions.
• Coordinate banking relationships, obtain necessary Central Bank approvals, and manage banking facilities.
• Conduct weekly accounting meetings and participate in cross‑functional meetings as required.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience managing an accounting team and supervising daily operations.
• Knowledge of government reporting requirements such as VAT and Central Bank filings.
• Proven ability to prepare budgets, forecasts and support audit processes.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
