Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the Accounting Department of Cacique Intl. Group of Companies, overseeing daily financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This senior role reports directly to the President/CEO, Sr. Vice President, and General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash, inventory, accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and year‑end audit preparation.
• Handle all government reporting requirements, including VAT filings and Central Bank submissions.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and related HR liaison activities.
• Supervise the accounting team, allocate work, and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Coordinate banking relationships, secure facilities, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Monitor inventory accounting and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting leadership or financial control roles.
• Strong knowledge of local tax, VAT, and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with senior management and external auditors.
