About the role

The Grill Cook prepares and cooks grilled menu items, ensuring each dish meets quality, consistency, and timing standards in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables according to recipes.
• Operate and maintain grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee food quality.
• Season, portion, and plate dishes with attention to presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grill station and overall kitchen work areas.
• Assist with inventory management and report shortages.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Grill Cook or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, cooking times, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle high‑heat equipment.
• Flexibility to work opening or closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Culinary training or certification is an asset.
