Housekeeping Aide

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join its team on Andros Island, Bahamas, supporting the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. The role is open only to Bahamian citizens.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning upholstered furniture.
• Maintain restrooms, stock supplies, and respond to guest requests for items such as extra towels.
• Collect and dispose of trash, keep common areas clean, and ensure inventory of necessary supplies.
• Notify managers of needed repairs and keep the linen room stocked.
• Clean and restock restrooms regularly.
• Handle spills promptly using appropriate equipment.
• Assist guests as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping departmental standards and follow established procedures.

Required profile

• Bahamian citizenship (position reserved for Bahamian citizens only).
• At least two years of relevant housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules.
• Basic writing ability.
