Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will partner with Enviroscape’s leadership team to build a productive, compliant, and people‑first workplace. This senior‑level role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day HR operations across the entire employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date job descriptions, manage recruitment, screening, testing and interview processes.
• Lead onboarding, orientation and ongoing training programs, including safety and CPR.
• Oversee attendance, absence tracking and ensure operational coverage.
• Administer benefits, design competitive salary structures, conduct job evaluations and manage payroll on a weekly basis.
• Support performance reviews, coaching, disciplinary actions and grievance resolution.
• Ensure compliance with labour, immigration and National Insurance regulations; manage work permits for non‑Bahamian staff.
• Investigate workplace incidents, promote safety policies and handle insurance claim reporting.
• Maintain the employee manual, develop HR policies, and produce monthly HR reports for finance.
• Plan employee events, recognition programs and foster an inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Experienced HR generalist with a hands‑on approach in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to provide strategic and operational HR support to senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Bahamian labour, immigration and National Insurance laws.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills.
