IT Support Technician

About the role

BankPro, a private digital bank, is expanding its IT department and seeks an IT Support Technician. You will be the first point of contact for employees reporting errors and requesting assistance, while also helping to maintain the bank's hardware and software environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up new user accounts, devices and configure machines for new hires.
• Install, update and patch operating systems and applications on user PCs.
• Replace defective hardware and perform routine maintenance on computers and IoT devices such as video‑conferencing equipment and printers.
• Provide first‑line support for error reporting, troubleshooting and end‑user assistance.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of software and hardware assets.
• Collaborate with the network team to manage telephony systems and physical access control.
• Record and update support tickets in the Jira ticketing system.
• Document technical procedures and keep documentation current.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar IT support role is an advantage.

• MacOS operating system.
• Computer hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
• Windows Active Directory.
• Google Workspace administration (advantage).
• Office 365 applications.
• Jira ticketing system.
• Basic knowledge of telephony and IoT device management.
