Kitchen Technician

About the role

The Kitchen Technician ensures that all kitchen equipment at The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort in the Bahamas, operates reliably and safely. Working under the direction of Engineering Management, the technician supports the culinary team by maintaining a seamless kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all kitchen appliances and machinery.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures to minimise downtime.
• Replace worn or defective parts and keep maintenance records up to date.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialised repairs or parts procurement.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety and hotel standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience maintaining kitchen equipment in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to work independently while following guidance from Engineering Management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
