Senior Compliance Analyst

About the role

Pepperstone is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join its global compliance team. You will help manage the regulatory compliance framework and the AML/CTF program across the organisation, ensuring policies are up‑to‑date and that a compliance‑focused culture is embedded throughout the business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct control testing and continuous reviews of the Compliance Management Program.
• Initiate and review customer KYC processes, including OCDD and ECDD, as part of day‑to‑day operations.
• Investigate unusual activity reports, escalating findings to the Compliance Manager and MLRO when necessary.
• Support marketing and financial promotion reviews for compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
• Assist the AML team with escalated ECDD requests and provide subject‑matter expertise.
• Help prepare for internal and external AML or regulatory audits and conduct risk assessments.
• Respond to compliance‑related queries from internal stakeholders across all communication channels.
• Contribute to the development and review of compliance policies, procedures, and training programmes.
• Assist with internal dispute resolution, complaints handling, and incident/breach registers.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting Pepperstone’s licensing and operations and propose proactive risk‑reduction improvements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in regulatory compliance, AML/CTF, and risk management.
• Proven ability to conduct KYC reviews, investigations, and audit support.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance best practices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
