Social Media Coordinator

About the role

The Social Media Coordinator will support the Corporate Communications Department by planning, creating and publishing content across the company’s social media channels. This role ensures brand consistency, engages audiences and provides reporting to drive the company’s digital presence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and post approved content on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and other platforms.
• Draft captions, announcements and promotional posts that align with the brand voice.
• Monitor channels, track engagement and escalate comments or issues as needed.
• Maintain a social media content calendar for campaigns, events and employee initiatives.
• Assist in creating visuals, photos, short‑form videos and other digital assets.
• Ensure consistent branding, tone and formatting across all social media output.
• Support internal and external communications, including campaigns, advertising and media relations.
• Research trends, audience behavior, competitors and new digital opportunities.
• Prepare regular performance reports on engagement, audience growth and content results.
• Organise and maintain digital assets such as graphics, templates and approved content.
• Provide administrative support for request tracking, approvals and record‑keeping.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic graphic design, photography or video‑editing skills.
• Familiarity with content‑planning and scheduling tools.
• Understanding of social media analytics.
