Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position supports the delivery of speech‑language services to clients of all ages in Nassau. Working closely with a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist, the Assistant helps create a supportive environment for therapy and communication development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the SLP during speech therapy sessions, preparing materials and equipment.
• Support communication activities and exercises tailored to individual client needs.
• Help implement treatment plans for speech, language, articulation, and swallowing disorders.
• Document session notes and track client progress under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy space.

Required profile

• Experience working with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or a related field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of speech‑language assessment and treatment techniques.
