Tour Guide – Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

About the role

The Tour Guide will lead guest activities on Half Moon Cay, a private island owned by Carnival Corporation. You will ensure tours are safe, engaging, and memorable, providing clear instructions and enthusiastic commentary.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled tours, greeting guests, following scripts, and delivering engaging commentary.
• Provide clear safety briefings and monitor guest participation throughout the tour.
• Inspect, maintain, and prepare all tour equipment before each use.
• Promote additional activities or services in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist with beach and activity area setup, and support team members during busy periods.
• Report any hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions promptly.

Required profile

• Basic education or equivalent experience; hospitality education is a plus.
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Physically fit: able to lift 10 lb, stand/walk on sand for long periods, ride a bike, operate a kayak, handle fishing gear and live animals, and work in sun without motion sickness.
