Wealth Manager

About the role

The Wealth Manager will drive growth for Scotia Wealth Management by acquiring, retaining, and deepening relationships with high‑net‑worth (HNW) and ultra‑high‑net‑worth (UHNW) clients. You will deliver customized wealth, banking, lending, and investment solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage, and expand a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients with tailored financial solutions.
• Generate new business through proactive acquisition, networking, referrals, and relationship expansion.
• Conduct discovery meetings, annual portfolio reviews, and ongoing financial assessments.
• Collaborate with specialists and business‑line partners to provide integrated advice.
• Lead a team of specialists to ensure seamless execution and exceptional client service.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities across Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Trust, and Retail Banking.
• Negotiate and structure customized lending and banking solutions.
• Represent the bank at industry, client, and community events.
• Monitor portfolio performance and maintain compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Investments, Commercial Banking, Corporate Finance, or a related financial services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or other relevant postgraduate qualifications preferred.
