X-Road Developer / Lead / DevOps Specialist

About the role

We are seeking experienced developers to design, deploy, and operate a national X‑Road interoperability layer. The role combines platform engineering, DevOps automation, and secure API integration for government agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain the X‑Road platform, including Central Server and Security Servers.
• Set up member organisations, subsystems, services and manage access rights.
• Implement secure API integrations between government agencies using REST/SOAP.
• Manage certificates, PKI, TLS, and digital signatures.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes and IaC tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise the X‑Road environment.
• Collaborate with solution architects and agency teams during onboarding.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience deploying or operating X‑Road.
• Strong background in Linux system administration.
• Proven experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS and reverse proxies.
