Activities Manager – Explorer (Kids Club)

About the role

The Activities Manager – Explorer will lead the Kids Club team in delivering safe, engaging, and memorable recreational experiences for children and families at a resort setting. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily activities while ensuring high standards of safety and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute a diverse programme of children’s activities and events.
• Lead, motivate and train a team of 15+ staff members, fostering a collaborative and enthusiastic work environment.
• Manage budgeting, cash handling and inventory for supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and child‑protection policies.
• Communicate effectively with guests of all ages, resort management and other departments.
• Monitor activity performance, anticipate potential issues and implement solutions promptly.

Required profile

• Valid First Aid certificate for the duration of the contract.
• Minimum three years of management experience overseeing 15 or more team members.
• Strong customer service background and experience handling budgets.
• Approachable, friendly, energetic and professional appearance.
• Highly organized, punctual and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Ability to lead, motivate and train staff.
• Excellent problem‑solving and motivational skills.
• Operational knowledge of safety procedures for kids and family activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Inventory and supply ordering management.
