B2B Marketing & Business Communications Consultant (Remote)

About the role

IDB Invest seeks a B2B Marketing & Business Communications professional to support its Business Planning team. You will help position the institution’s transactions, events and award‑winning achievements across strategic industries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Provide communications support for business transactions, crafting messages that highlight financial innovation and development impact.
• Maintain an inventory of high‑profile awards, support applications, track outcomes and build a knowledge base for future submissions.
• Coordinate business events, handling agendas, logistics, invitations, vendors and post‑event reporting.
• Manage stakeholder contact records, update event‑related information and ensure follow‑up actions are documented.
• Assist marketing campaigns and content initiatives that reinforce IDB Invest’s regional positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, International Relations or a related field.
• At least 4 years of B2B marketing and communications experience, preferably in multilateral or development‑bank environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and organize events in large, complex organizations.
• Excellent written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Legal right to work in your country of residence and no close relatives employed at IDB, IDB Invest or IDB Lab.
