Client Credit Assistant

About the role

Fidelity Bank is seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Client Credit Assistant to support its lending function. You will play a pivotal role in preparing and processing loan applications, maintaining credit documentation, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, scan, organize and maintain loan and credit documentation for efficient processing and record management.
• Input and maintain loan and customer information in the bank’s core banking system.
• Prepare credit‑related correspondence such as satisfactions, release mortgage letters and cancellation letters.
• Respond to general customer inquiries and refer complex issues to the appropriate credit team members.
• Ensure all credit documentation complies with AML/CTF, financial crime policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary studies in Banking, Finance or Business Administration are an asset.
• Minimum five years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Excellent administrative and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using core banking systems for data entry and document management.
