Culinary Support Operations Manager – Half Moon Cay

About the role

The Culinary Support Operations Manager leads all back‑of‑house culinary support functions on Half Moon Cay, ensuring kitchens, galleys and food‑preparation areas are clean, safe, and fully operational to serve cruise guests. This hands‑on leader works in a remote, fast‑paced environment where staffing and workload fluctuate with ship schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Direct kitchen stewarding and back‑of‑house operations across the island, assigning daily work and cleaning schedules.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive sanitation and deep‑cleaning programs, conducting regular inspections.
• Ensure commercial kitchen equipment is ready for use, performing routine inspections and tracking service records.
• Partner with Engineering to create preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs.
• Manage workforce planning, deployment, and coverage for all culinary support areas.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading culinary support or stewarding teams in a hospitality or cruise‑ship environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to fluctuating operational demands.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities, especially with engineering and maintenance teams.
• Ability to work onsite in a remote island setting.
