Food Services Specialist - Casual

About the role

Amentum is looking for a motivated Food Services Specialist to join its casual team on Andros Island, Bahamas. You will work closely with colleagues and independently to deliver high‑quality food service in support of AUTEC operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet guests, take orders, and deliver food promptly.
• Perform cashier duties when required.
• Set up food service areas, equipment, and utensils according to detailed instructions.
• Check food temperatures and prepare stations for daily operation.
• Assist cooks with food preparation tasks such as cutting, peeling, and slicing.
• Maintain hot and cold food lines, ensuring proper temperatures and quality.
• Replenish food, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays at service stations.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, floors, equipment, and dining areas in line with safety standards.
• Support fellow employees and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bahamas citizen.
• Attention to detail, dependable, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organization, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, early/late shifts, and lift up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Food Safety standards.
