Head of Sports

About the role

Inspired Education is seeking an exceptional Head of Sports to lead the sports programme at King’s College School, The Bahamas. The role starts in August 2027 and involves delivering high‑quality, engaging physical education across all year groups on a state‑of‑the‑art campus.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging sports lessons that align with the school curriculum and external assessment requirements.
• Develop and manage the sports department, including curriculum design, staff leadership and resource allocation.
• Promote student wellbeing through pastoral care, individualized support and a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to the wider co‑curricular programme by leading clubs, organising events and supporting whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Passion for education with a proven ability to motivate and inspire young people.
• Strong leadership experience in an educational setting, capable of building and developing a high‑performing team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of establishing positive relationships with families and colleagues.
