Houseman – Property Cleaning & Upkeep

About the role

The Houseman ensures the property presents a pristine image for members and guests by maintaining cleanliness of homes, public areas, and club outlets. This position supports the housekeeping team with specialized cleaning tasks, guest requests, and equipment upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Clean patios, windows, grills, and high ledges before member and guest arrivals.
• Enter and prepare rooms for cleaning, including tagging owners' personal linen for laundering.
• Deliver and retrieve guest loan items such as cribs, pack‑n‑plays, and high chairs.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties like carpet steam cleaning and spring cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness of ramps, laundry areas, washers, dryers, and storage spaces.
• Remove garbage daily and ensure all public‑area windows and patios are spotless.
• Polish equipment and keep storage areas stocked for room attendants.
• Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures while working unsupervised.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 60 lb.
• Comfort working in confined spaces and tolerating dust and cleaning chemicals.
• Capability to climb ladders to reach high areas.
• Strong listening skills, ability to follow instructions, and work independently.
• Clear verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Professional appearance, integrity, and a positive attitude toward members, guests, and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion.
