Port Painter – Celebration Key (Bahamas)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Painter to maintain and enhance the visual appearance of our cruise‑port facilities at Celebration Key in the Bahamas. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paints and protective coatings, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards in a marine environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and clean metal, concrete, wood and other surfaces by power washing, scraping and sanding.
• Remove old paint, repair cracks, holes and rust, and apply primer for optimal adhesion.
• Mix paints and apply finishes using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Apply weather‑resistant and non‑slip coatings to terminals, docks, fences, bridges and walkways.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects, perform touch‑ups and ensure protective qualities in a salt‑water environment.
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Follow safety regulations, use protective gear and handle hazardous materials responsibly.
• Coordinate with maintenance crews and port management to schedule work and minimize operational disruptions.
