Port Security Supervisor – Celebration Key

About the role

The Port Security Supervisor ensures the safety and security of the Celebration Key facility by leading a team of security officers, monitoring surveillance systems, and coordinating emergency response activities. This on‑site role is essential for protecting personnel, visitors, and assets while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide security officers, conduct patrols, and perform spot‑checks of the property.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, respond promptly to incidents, and escort unwelcomed persons.
• Plan and conduct emergency response drills and daily hazard/safety inspections.
• Maintain daily security records, prepare reports, and ensure confidentiality of information.
• Conduct investigations, interview witnesses, and document findings.
• Assist management with training, coaching, and motivating security staff.
• Act as liaison with police and handle interruptions, complaints, and disturbances according to policy.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising security personnel in a port or similar facility.
• Strong knowledge of safety and security regulations and emergency procedures.
• Ability to conduct investigations, write detailed reports, and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with law enforcement and handling public interactions.
• Capability to train, motivate, and develop a security team.
