Risk Officer – Regulatory Reporting & Risk Management

About the role

Join BankPro, a private digital bank that values innovation and dynamic teamwork. As a Risk Officer you will be central to the Risk & Reporting function, leading the preparation of regulatory reports, monitoring risk exposures, and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise management on regulatory and reporting obligations based on applicable rules.
• Own the preparation and timely submission of all regulatory reports for the group entities.
• Gather, validate, and reconcile data from Finance, Operations, Compliance and other departments.
• Maintain documentation, workpapers and audit trails to support submitted reports.
• Identify, categorize and maintain risk registers for market, credit, operational, liquidity and regulatory risks.
• Prepare and present internal risk dashboards and reports, highlighting insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or related field; Master’s or professional certification (FRM, CFA) is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in risk management, regulatory reporting, finance, audit or a related area.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products and risk concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities and take ownership of deliverables.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of databases.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• SQL querying skills.
