Site Supervisor / Site Agent – Roads & Earthworks (Bahamas)

About the role

We are recruiting two experienced Site Supervisors/Site Agents for a civil engineering project in the Bahamas. The role involves hands‑on leadership of daily site operations, managing teams and ensuring safe, on‑time delivery of road and earthworks works.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely, on time, and to specification.
• Direct site engineers, foremen and subcontractors, coordinating manpower and resources effectively.
• Monitor construction schedules, adjust sequencing and report progress against milestones.
• Implement and enforce site safety procedures, conduct toolbox talks and maintain risk assessments.
• Supervise civil works including earthworks, drainage, concrete structures and roadworks.
• Coordinate plant, equipment and logistics to maintain productivity.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in civil engineering projects.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a site agent or site supervisor role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Professional accreditation (ICE, CIOB or equivalent) preferred.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of civil engineering construction methods.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in site management software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
