Applications and Range Systems Manager

About the role

The Applications and Range Systems Manager leads software development, business systems support, and real‑time range systems for the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) on Andros Island, The Bahamas. This on‑site position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative leadership to application development and range systems teams, managing workload, performance and training.
• Oversee design, development, deployment and maintenance of AUTEC business applications built with Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#.NET 4.8 and .NET Core.
• Ensure secure coding, DoD IA compliance, configuration management, code reviews, testing and release management.
• Lead real‑time range system support, guaranteeing mission‑ready availability and 24‑hour on‑call coverage during critical events.
• Maintain cybersecurity documentation, security forms and logs for DoD IA requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience in software development, systems administration or range/mission system support, with at least 2 years of direct management.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification required.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
