Branch Operations Specialist

About the role

The Branch Operations Specialist is the centre of expertise for branch operations, risk and regulatory compliance, ensuring processes and controls are followed while supporting sales and service professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the branch generic email box and multiple reporting sites, distributing actions to the appropriate Sales and Service Professionals and ensuring timely completion.
• Support the Branch Manager in handling operational requests from the Regional Operations Office and other departments, maintaining accurate and on‑time delivery.
• Hold regular sessions at branch huddles and sales/service meetings to communicate operational activities and expectations.
• Provide client‑experience support at the retail desk or welcome desk, especially during lunch periods.
• Act as an RBC digital ambassador, educating clients and employees on RBC’s Access and Convenience solutions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Banking or a related field (MBO – Dutch Caribbean Only).
• Minimum three (3) years of personal banking experience.
• Proven customer service and operations acumen in a client‑focused, target‑driven environment.
• Leadership, multitasking, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Ability to navigate and demonstrate digital banking platforms and self‑serve applications.
• Strong aptitude for listening, establishing rapport and finding appropriate solutions for customers.
