Florist & Event Floral Designer

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Florist & Event Floral Designer to join our team in Abaco. You will design, prepare and install floral arrangements for weddings, hotels, corporate functions and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Design and install beautiful floral centrepieces, bouquets, decorative displays and customized arrangements.
• Collaborate with event planners and production teams to understand themes, design concepts and client expectations.
• Coordinate floral orders, supplies, deliveries and inventory with vendors and purchasing teams.
• Maintain accurate records of floral orders, sales, stock levels and supplies.
• Assist with event setup, floral installations, breakdowns and ensure a clean, safe working environment.

Required profile

• Must currently reside in Abaco, The Bahamas.
• Previous experience in floristry, floral design or related creative field is preferred.
• Strong artistic ability, creativity and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively and adapt to fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of QuickBooks (asset).
