General Manager – Luxury Beach Resort

About the role

The General Manager will set the strategic direction for Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau, fostering a culture of service excellence, accountability and collaboration while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, business planning and performance reviews in partnership with ownership.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and disciplined expense management across all departments.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the resort, engaging with guests and associates to resolve concerns promptly.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, safety, security and emergency preparedness programs.
• Partner with sales, marketing and revenue management to strengthen demand generation and total resort revenue.
• Develop and coach a diverse leadership team, ensuring clear decision rights and performance expectations.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive hospitality leadership, including General Manager or senior executive role in a large, full‑service resort.
• Proven success managing multi‑outlet operations with rooms, food & beverage, spa, recreation and entertainment.
• Strong financial acumen – improving performance, budgeting, forecasting and expense control.
• Excellent owner‑relations and communication skills.
• Caribbean or international island‑market experience highly preferred.
