About the role
The position is responsible for day‑to‑day maintenance of the hotel, ensuring equipment operates with minimal downtime and adhering to fire and safety procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, chilled water fan coil units, and guest room furnishings.
- Respond to guest service calls, complete work orders independently, and maintain a clean engineering work area.
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, communicate needs to supervisors, and follow up on back‑ordered items.
- Assist with basic TV system troubleshooting and guest room safe lock emergencies.
Required profile
- Ability to work independently and analyze problems to devise quick, high‑quality solutions.
- Willingness to train and share knowledge with other staff members.
- Legal right to work in The Bahamas without sponsorship.
