Intern - Energy Trading (Shell Western Supply and Trading)

About the role

Shell Western Supply and Trading Limited (SWST), part of the Shell Trading & Supply organisation, is offering an internship programme for 2027 in The Bahamas. The internship gives students hands-on involvement in real projects within the energy trading business, with a supervisor and mentor supporting them throughout.

Key responsibilities

• Work on a real project with a significant level of business impact, chosen to match your interests and abilities.
• Join a project team and work alongside professional Shell employees.
• Receive constructive feedback to discover which skills you need to develop.
• Build valuable networks and contacts for future career opportunities.
• Prepare a presentation about your project at the end of the internship, followed by a discussion with your supervisor and mentor on project delivery and performance.

Required profile

• Actively enrolled student at a tertiary educational institution in your junior or senior year.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20.
• Right to work in the Bahamas.
• Ability to absorb information, analyse problems, make objective decisions and come up with original ideas.
• Drive, resilience, teamwork and the ability to influence others.
