Plant Manager

About the role

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring optimal production levels, minimal downtime, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain optimum production levels while minimizing plant downtime and coordinating production with market demand.
• Lead daily production meetings, manage budgets, forecasts, inventory, and labor planning.
• Collaborate with quality control, sales, and safety teams to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.
• Implement cost‑saving and continuous‑improvement programs to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma required; BS/BA or Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years supervising production employees in aggregate, sand/gravel, or asphalt plant environments.
• Ability to lift 50 lb, stand/walk for long periods, and drive a pick‑up truck daily.
• Willingness to work long hours, travel overnight, and operate in both indoor office and outdoor quarry settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Google applications.
• Familiarity with Oracle Business Environment or similar enterprise software.
