Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will support the Internal Audit Manager in delivering the annual audit plan for Cable Bahamas Ltd.’s group of companies. This role combines hands‑on audit execution with data‑driven analysis to strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements, including risk assessments, planning, walkthroughs and testing.
• Interpret audit findings and communicate results to the Internal Audit Manager.
• Document audit issues, recommendations and prepare timely audit reports.
• Track and follow up on action items, ensuring remediation.
• Prepare presentations for business leaders, executive committees and risk committees.
• Develop data‑analytics measures, dashboards and visual KPI reports.
• Create process narratives, flowcharts and maintain a risk‑and‑control matrix.
• Lead special projects such as consulting engagements, ad‑hoc requests and investigations.
• Record time spent on engagements in the time‑management system.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, newsletters, training sessions and develop risk‑identification tools.
• Supervise team members when required and perform additional tasks defined by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• Professional credentials such as CIA or CPA.
• Minimum five years of experience in external or internal audit.
• Strong knowledge of information systems and related controls is a plus.
