About the role
We are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join a local and growing finance team in the retail industry. This hands‑on, intermediate‑level position supports day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close, reconciliations and the supervision of junior staff.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily accounting operations and month‑end close processes.
- Perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain schedules.
- Supervise and train junior accounting team members.
- Assist with inventory valuation and related journal entries.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 + years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong QuickBooks Online proficiency and ability to work independently.
- Hands‑on experience with month‑end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
