Tour Guide – Half Moon Cay (Bahamas)

About the role

The Tour Guide leads guest activities on Half Moon Cay, a private island in the Bahamas owned by Carnival Corporation. You will ensure tours are safe, engaging and memorable, providing clear instructions and enthusiastic commentary.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled tours, greet guests, follow the script and provide clear guidance.
• Engage participants with interesting facts, answer questions and encourage completion of satisfaction surveys.
• Inspect, maintain and store tour equipment, reporting any damage or loss.
• Deliver safety briefings, enforce safety standards and report hazards.
• Support beach and activity area setup, assist teammates during busy periods and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Basic education or equivalent experience; hospitality education a plus.
• Certified in First Aid and CPR.
• Proficient in English with strong verbal communication.
• Physically fit – able to lift 10 lb, stand or walk on sand for long periods, work in sun and handle live animals.
• Ability to ride a bike, operate a kayak and fishing equipment; no motion sickness.
