Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead its warehouse operations on Andros Island, Bahamas, supporting the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. The role involves overseeing daily activities, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks and manage work schedules for warehouse staff.
• Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain correct stock levels.
• Train and evaluate team members on safety procedures and equipment use.
• Ensure proper use of forklifts, scanners, and other tools.
• Execute all supply functions across storerooms and quickly resolve stock or shipping errors.
• Secure storage areas and protect stock from unauthorized access.
• Apply shelf‑life management and FIFO principles.
• Respond to customer inquiries, solving problems or escalating as needed.
• Deliver items using forklift equipment.
• Report performance metrics and staff updates to management.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Bahamian citizenship (must be a citizen of the Bahamas).
• Valid Bahamian C‑Class CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement.
• Active and valid Bahamian driver’s license.
• Forklift certification (AUTEC certification required within 30 days).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Good knowledge of the AUTEC ERP system – Maximo.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
