Cashier & Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cashier and Customer Service Representative to join our retail team. You will handle cash and card transactions, issue receipts, and provide friendly assistance to shoppers during evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and POS systems to process sales accurately.
• Scan items, verify pricing, and collect payments in cash or credit.
• Issue receipts, handle refunds, and process store‑credit transactions.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked checkout area and keep the register space organized.
• Bag, box, or wrap purchases and manage merchandise returns or exchanges.
• Cross‑sell products, introduce new items, and address customer inquiries or complaints.
• Prepare weekly inspection sheets for the store manager.
• Support the head cashier and perform any related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail cashier or customer‑service role.
• Basic high‑school education.
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
• Strong mathematical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
