Financial Solutions Associate – Advice Centre

About the role

This position supports RBC clients with everyday banking needs over the phone, delivering advice and solutions as a trusted ambassador. You will engage with customers, understand their issues, and help them achieve their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice and recommendations using RBC resources during client conversations.
• Leverage technology to create a memorable client experience and retain business.
• Listen actively, ask probing questions, and identify root causes of client inquiries.
• Apply processes and procedures to accurately respond to and resolve client requests.
• Take ownership of problem resolution as first point of contact or escalate when necessary.
• Manage compliance risks by following routines, processes, and controls.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Banking, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in a customer service environment.
• Goal‑oriented with a strong client‑first mindset.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Digital literacy across smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Flexibility to work 24/7 shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
