Fund Accountant

About the role

Gamma Fund Services Ltd. is looking for a Fund Accountant to provide high‑quality accounting and administration services for a portfolio of investment funds. The role involves accurate NAV calculation, fund accounting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and review Net Asset Values (NAVs) for various investment funds.
• Perform fund accounting tasks such as portfolio valuation, income accruals, and expense allocations.
• Prepare financial reports and support the fund audit process.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and fund documentation.
• Utilize fund administration platforms, preferably Paxus, to manage data feeds.
• Execute cash, position, and transaction reconciliations and resolve any breaks or valuation discrepancies.
• Liaise with auditors, custodians, investment managers, and other service providers as required.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and client service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting designation (ACCA, CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration or a comparable financial services environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• NAV calculation and accounting.
• Fund audit processes.
• Fund administration systems (experience with Paxus preferred).
• Data‑feed management and reconciliation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
