Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner supports the HR Manager in delivering end‑to‑end HR services across the organization. You will oversee recruitment, training, employee retention, payroll, and compliance while acting as a liaison with unions, service providers, and governmental agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HR technology platforms, databases and support HR management processes.
• Monitor compliance and performance indicators for recruitment and selection.
• Maintain internal and external communication channels.
• Design and implement employee retention programs such as internships, scholarship schemes, staff activities and climate surveys.
• Structure and manage HR and job‑creation databases.
• Lead process‑improvement projects and develop recruitment plans to attract high‑quality talent.
• Prepare and oversee budgets for HR, Corporate Affairs and Compensation & Benefits.
• Collaborate on the rollout of HR policies and procedures across business units.
• Plan and execute training and development initiatives to ensure a competent workforce.
• Manage relationships with unions, service providers and government agencies.
• Oversee payroll, leave, attendance and immigration support for overseas staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in HR or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and industrial relations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
• Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
