Kids Club Supervisor

About the role

The Kids Club Supervisor leads daily operations of the children’s activities and childcare program at The Abaco Club, ensuring a safe, engaging and welcoming environment for our youngest members and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Kids Club activities and staff during operating hours.
• Develop, plan and implement creative recreational and educational programming for children.
• Maintain safety and well‑being of children, following club and state protocols.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about children’s experience, needs and behavior.
• Train, mentor and schedule Kids Club staff to uphold professionalism.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization and proper setup of the Kids Club facility.
• Collaborate with Events, Food & Beverage and other departments for special family events and holiday programming.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies for activities.
• Handle disciplinary issues with tact, following established guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in education, recreation or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience working with children in a supervisory or program‑leadership role.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to develop creative programming and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Energetic, patient and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children.
• Prior experience in hospitality, country club or resort settings preferred.
