Retail & Inventory Associate

About the role

Aquatech Pools & Spas is looking for a reliable, organized and customer‑focused Retail & Inventory Associate to run the store counter, keep accurate inventory records, handle chemical billing for the maintenance team, and boost the store’s social media presence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with pool chemicals, equipment, parts and accessories, providing knowledgeable service.
• Process retail sales, invoices, receipts and payments using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized and well‑stocked retail area with proper product displays and pricing.
• Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities, enter data and monitor stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies and generate reports for management.
• Record chemicals and products issued to technicians and review usage reports.
• Process customer billing for chemicals based on documented usage and ensure inventory deductions.
• Maintain the store’s Instagram and Facebook pages, posting engaging content, photos and videos.
• Create captions and promotional copy, monitor comments, and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate with management on promotions, campaigns and special offers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail, inventory, billing or customer service.
• Strong organizational, numerical and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Comfortable working with computers, POS and inventory/accounting systems.
• Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Ability to create and post content on Instagram and Facebook.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools (advantage).
• Creative eye for quality photos and videos using a smartphone.
• Dependable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
• Willingness to learn about swimming‑pool chemicals, equipment and products.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software (advantage).
