Security Guard

About the role

The Security Guard ensures a safe and secure environment for team members, guests, visitors, and property at a private destination. This role involves active patrolling, surveillance, and rapid response to emergencies while upholding company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol indoor and outdoor areas to maintain visible security presence.
• Enforce security policies and procedures consistently.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras and alarm systems 24/7.
• Control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
• Respond promptly to suspicious activity, fire alarms, and other emergencies.
• Interact with guests to ensure compliance with conduct standards.
• Assist with crowd control during ship arrivals, departures, and inclement weather.
• Support investigations of incidents involving guests or team members.

• Ability to think critically, assess risks, and take appropriate action.
• Effective communication, conflict‑resolution, and de‑escalation abilities.
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and, when necessary, apply control techniques.
