Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer will protect guests, staff and assets at comfortsuitespi in Nassau. Reporting, investigations and safety measures are coordinated to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee reporting and documentation of all incidents and prepare accurate investigation reports.
• Lead incident response and emergency actions when senior officers are unavailable.
• Maintain and review security measures, including fire systems, room locking and camera surveillance.
• Conduct background checks and assist with disaster preparedness activities.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor surveillance cameras and update security diaries.
• Collaborate with the Shift or Security Manager and other departments on security matters.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, communication and judgment skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with guests and team members.
• Computer literate with solid administrative abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of fire systems.
