Site Supervisor – Airport Project

About the role

Mowlem Group is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day construction activities on our airport project in the Bahamas. You will coordinate operatives, subcontractors and the main contractor to ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Report progress and issues to the main contractor and internal teams.
• Liaise with airport operators, attend meetings and provide regular updates.
• Enforce all safety protocols, especially airside start‑up and shift procedures.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks, manage permits, PPE and quality control documentation.
• Record incidents, injuries and near‑misses and ensure timely reporting.
• Supervise workers and subcontractors, monitor performance against programme, quantities and contractual obligations.
• Maintain site records, oversee daily activities and ensure maintenance tasks are completed correctly.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction sites, preferably on infrastructure or airport projects.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) standards.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and resolve issues promptly.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
