Talent Coordinator – Local Talent & Career Development

About the role

KPMG is seeking a motivated Talent Coordinator to support the Local Talent and Career Development (LTCD) team across its Cayman Islands, The Bahamas and British Virgin Islands offices. The role blends human‑resources and project‑management duties, ensuring smooth recruitment processes, student onboarding, and career‑development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule candidate screening calls, interviews and selection activities across multiple time zones.
• Plan and execute LTCD events, including volunteer coordination, career fairs, and school presentations.
• Prepare onboarding documentation, set up employee accounts and facilitate orientation sessions.
• Facilitate workshops, orientation sessions, school presentations and career‑development programs.
• Maintain internal trackers for scholarships, internships, work‑experience and professional‑designation programs.
• Produce reports, presentations and recommendations for continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Build and sustain relationships with schools, universities, community partners and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and update marketing collateral such as digital ads, newsletters and event signage.
• Analyze recruitment and program metrics, gather participant feedback and suggest enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Communications or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, learning & development, event management or project coordination.
• Proven experience managing programs and stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and client‑relationship skills.
• Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in scheduling and calendar management tools.
• Experience with onboarding processes and HR information systems.
• Ability to create and edit marketing materials and presentations.
• Strong analytical skills for metric tracking and reporting.
